Rather than just developing and supplying EPOS systems to our customers, G7 also takes on the responsibility of the Engineering, Maintenance and Support that is needed to complete the service.

Customer Services

Our Customer Services Team is there to help you whenever you need it. Each Team Member has a wealth of knowledge about both the G7 Extreme Retail System and Torex Retail POS Business Edition. This service includes:

 

  • Seven Day Telephone Support
      • Our Team is able to dial-in to your retail system over the internet, giving them the opportunity to fix minor difficulties in minutes.

  • Software Upgrades
      • The Customer Services Team will upgrade your retail system when enhancements are available

If you are an existing customer, you can download the Help File for your retail system by logging into the Customer Secure Area and selecting Downloads - View from the side menu. You will find it located in Customer Manuals. If you are unsure which retail system you are using, please email support@g7.co.uk .



Engineering Services

G7 employs a full team of experienced engineers to look after the installation and maintenance of your G7 EPOS system.  

 

Services provided by the G7 Engineering Team:

 

  • Networking

§         The Engineering Team will carry out a networking survey in the first few weeks that you have chosen to invest in a G7 EPOS system

§         Depending on your current networking capabilities, our engineers will then plan and implement networking across your site

§         This is a service that is available to anyone, not just customers or prospects of G7 Computer Services

 

  • Installation

§         The G7 Engineers will install and set up all of your hardware and software prior to your go-live date

 

  • Hardware Maintenance

§         After your EPOS has been installed, you will have the option to have the maintenance and repair covered by our Preventative Hardware Maintenance contract. G7 Engineers will then service your equipment on a regular basis to lessen the chances of hardware failure.

 

  • Wi Fi Surveys

§         HHTs are a highly useful tool for any business and work through radio frequencies around your site. The Engineers will also complete a Wi Fi survey and installation prior to a go-live date.
