Where We Came From
G7 was established in 1992 and provided computer services to a variety of businesses in sectors such as Nurseries Manufacturing and Landed Estate Management where a wide range of systems were being used, including Stock Control, Work in Progress, Payroll, Order Processing, Invoicing and many more.
By the mid-1990s, the company had decided to streamline the offered services and concentrate on one sector - Retail. Garden Centres were an emerging market at this time and the established links within the horticultural trade led to the creation of G7’s first EPOS system.
The company continued to expand and was soon established as a leading supplier of EPOS Systems. As the needs of Garden Centre Retailers grew, and G7 expanded into other related retail markets, a new system was developed that included such features as an extensive yet easy to use reporting facility and access to all modules from a single screen.
In 2008, G7 became a Channel Partner with Torex Retail. Becoming a Channel Partner with Torex Retail allowed G7 to offer larger multibranch customers a system that controlled their entire business from a central location in real time.
We now have over 130 customers, all from different retail markets and successfully using a G7 EPOS Solution.
